All-Purpose Scrubbies

These simple scrubbies are one of my favorite items to make as a gift or to just have around the house. I use them to was my face or remove make-up, clean my glasses, remove smudges from tablet and computer screens, wash dishes, the list goes on. They are available in my Etsy shop. Here is the pattern with step-by-step photos.
I always use a 100% cotton yarn for these and an I hook.
Before beginning, you need to understand the puff stitch.
Puff stitch: yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, bring through stitch and pull up (it will look loose; this makes the puff), yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, bring through stitch and pull up (5 loops on hook), yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, bring through stitch and pull up (7 loops on hook). Yarn over and bring through all 7 stitches. Chain 1to lock puff stitch.

So to the scrubbie pattern:
Make a magic loop
Round 1: Make 8 puff stitches in the loop. Pull circle closed, then connect with a slip stitch.

7 stitches on hook. Next, yarn over and bring through all 7 loops.

Close each puff stitch with a chain 1.

First round ends with 8 puff stitches.
Round 2: Chain 2, Make 2 puff stitches in the space between each stitch from the previous round. End with 16 puff stitches. Connect with slip stitch and tie off. Weave in ends.

Did you try this pattern? Please let me know how it turned out! What do you use your scrubbies for?
